4th of July Parade Floats!

Xanadu is partnered with We the People and Outdoor Event Groups to work on 3 of the grand floats for the 4th of July parade. These massive, 50' floats are sponsored by Simplot, Idaho Power, and Corey Barton Homes. And each of these is open to the community to come help build.

The images are in progress and not the final design, but each concept gives you an idea of the amazing display and work put forward.

Xanadu invites all of you to come build, brag, and enjoy the projects. As always, we invite in community to create and work together. This and other creative endeavors are memorable and fun, which is why we continue to seek them out and offer them up.

While Xanadu is not hired or paid to create these from the sponsors (we depend on donations and community giving), we volunteered our time and space because our nonprofit charter is to seek out opportunities where people can come together to learn, create, and explore. Each sponsor is paying for their respective design, so in a sense they are sponsoring 3 big art pieces for the community to have fun building.

Our calendar will reflect build days, which are all weekend and a few days during the week.

And yes, the train drives on its own.
